Full Moon Pendant in Oxidized Sterling Silver

The full moon and the dark side of the moon. You choose which side you wish to show the world.

The bright side has had the oxidization brushed away to bring out the seas of the moon, and the dark side is a silky black. The chain, which is sturdy yet delicate, is oxidized as well. With wear, the oxidization may fade from the outside of the chain, but this is intentional, and I see the process as being like breaking in a new pair of jeans or boots: through wearing them you make them your own.

Details:

The pendant is slightly domed, and it measures 1 1/8" or 27mm wide, and is about 3/8"/ 4mm thick at its thickest, tapering to 1/16" 1mm at the edges.

Deeply textured and richly oxidized, it is permanently affixed to a 20" chain, so the pendant won't fall off the chain when not being worn.
